Nick has always loved cooking, but took an unusual route to his current work as a freelance chef. With a passion for music, he got into stage management and was soon working in London’s West End on top musicals.
Although he loved the work, he knew that he would prefer to be cooking so took a professional course at Leith’s and has never looked back.
He’s since cooked on tour for Bruce Springsteen, Aerosmith and McFly and takes pride in every dish he creates. For him, cooking is an art!
We hired Chef’s Compliments for my mother’s 60th birthday celebrations. The whole evening was immaculately planned and delivered by Chef Nick and his waiter and waitress. They were fantastic and made sure we were all topped up with food and drink throughout the evening. I would definitely recommend Chef’s Compliments as they personalised the evening for my mother and all of the guests.
The evening was fantastic. The food was extraordinary – every aspect was just perfect – and what a combination – pigeon, venison, chocolate. Chef Nick was great to talk to and joined us for a drink after dessert too. A truly memorable evening.
Just a quick note to say how much the three of us enjoyed our days cooking. Nick was charming and the food was fantastic – no good for the diet but what the hell. It was fun informative and a great way to spend a Friday. Would do it again at the drop of a hat.
