3 Step BBQ Chicken Marinade


The weather has cooled down and we think now is the perfect time to have a BBQ as your dinner party, as it won’t be so stifling standing next to a hot BBQ now! Plus there’s no excuse not to with our really simple 3 step BBQ chicken marinade recipe below!

What you’ll need;

1 pack coriander

1 pack flat-leaf parsley

1 garlic clove

2 tbsp white wine vinegar

2 tbsp sunflower or vegetable oil

What you’ll need to do;

  1. Prep the ingredients by roughly chopping the coriander and parsley and crushing the garlic.
  2. Put coriander, parsley, garlic and vinegar in a food processor and blitz until very finely chopped.  If you don’t have a food processor the herbs and garlic can be finely chopped with a knife then add them to a bowl and stir in the vinegar. Lastly, add the oil then stir and season.
  3. This mixture will coat around 500g of chicken breast or thigh meat. When ready, cover the raw chicken in the marinade, cover it and pop it in the fridge for 1-2 hours. The chicken will then be ready to pop on the BBQ!
